Melbourne CBD Fire

Early this morning the MFB were called to a fire at a restaurant in the Melbourne CBD.

Thankfully the fire was able to be quickly extinguished without any injury to any residents or MFB personnel.

Whilst the MFB are still investigating the cause of the fire, firefighters believe the fire started in the kitchen.

This is another timely reminder for all building owners and occupiers to ensure that all fire systems, included kitchen canopies and ventilation systems are maintained and serviced.
